JustEggs Website Revamp (Case Study)
1. Client Goal / Project Overview
JustEggs approached our team with an existing website that wasn’t performing well.
Despite having a strong product and a growing audience, their online presence lacked the structure, clarity, and visual impact needed to convert visitors into customers.
Their goal:
Revamp the entire website
Improve user experience
Make the brand feel premium
Add modern, dynamic animations
Increase overall conversions and revenue
To achieve this, I collaborated with three other web developers. My role involved producing high-fidelity mockups using Framer and Figma, designing interactions, and supporting the responsiveness and animation flow.
2. Challenges & Process
a. Merging Multiple Mockups from Different Designers
Since multiple designers created mockups, one core challenge was ensuring consistency.
We had to unify different design directions into a single, cohesive visual experience without losing the uniqueness each designer contributed.
b. Animation Complexity
The JustEggs website is animation-heavy.
A significant portion of these interactions couldn’t be built natively in Framer, so we had to move beyond visual builders and write custom code to achieve advanced effects.
c. Balancing Image Quality and Performance
The brand required high-quality lifestyle and product images.
However, large images usually slow down loading time.
We spent a lot of time optimizing visuals to strike the perfect balance:
Clean, crisp imagery
Fast performance
Smooth transitions
d. Fully Coded Backend Integration
Although Framer supported rapid prototyping, the production site required a fully coded backend for maximum flexibility.
So our Framer mockups were translated into code with special attention to:
Responsiveness across all screen sizes
Animation stability
Scalability for future updates
e. Collaboration Across Multiple Time Zones
Because it was a three-developer collaboration, coordinating tasks, merging work, and maintaining style consistency required strong communication and planning.
3. Final Results & Impact
The final result was a completely modernized, smooth, animation-rich, and fully responsive website that accurately reflected the JustEggs brand.
Key outcomes:
3x revenue increase in the first 6 months after launch
Website became a core sales engine rather than a passive page
Brand credibility skyrocketed
They expanded marketing efforts and were able to work with celebrities, including running an ad campaign featuring Serena Williams
Likely a 4x–5x scale in overall revenue as their digital presence strengthened
The smooth animations, high-quality imagery, and modern layout significantly improved user engagement
Client satisfaction was extremely high, and the project became one of the strongest early milestones in my portfolio
